UN PE bag is adopted as dangerous goods should be packaged properly and safely to withstand harsh conditions during shipping and transportation. UN mark is a need for such bagsand it is a universal system created by the United Nations, which is meant for the classification, packaging, marking and labelling of dangerous goods, in order to transport it safely (by road, rail, sea and air).  The packaging must meet or exceed minimum standards.

For example, Class 9 refers to Miscellaneous dangerous substances & articles (plastic moulding compound, medical kit).
